Meine Meinung: Ein tolles Buch mit historischem Hintergrund. Das Buch setzt ein wenig Grundkentnisse voraus, allerdings wird auch viel nebenbei erklärt. Man trifft auf historische Persönlichkeiten, hier seien nur Leonardo da Vinci, Cesare Borgia und Machiavelli genannt, und es zieht einen immer tiefer in die Geschichte und die Zeit. Die Charaktere werden liebevoll dargestellt und da sie sehr bildhaft und detailliert dargestellt werden, kann man sich von Beginn der Handlung an ein sehr gutes Bild machen und perfekt in die Handlung einsteigen. Man lebt, liebt und leidet mit den handelnden Personen. Der Beginn erfolgt rasant, so dass einem ein langatmiger Einführungsteil erspart bleibt. Das Buch ist interessant, spannend und auf hohem Niveau geschrieben, hat außerdem einen guten Schreibstil, allerdings wird es gegen Ende ein wenig zu Happy-end-mäßig. Das Verhältnis von fiktivem zu historischen Ereignissen ist perfekt.
Fazit:Wer ein passendes Geschenk für ihre lesehungrigen oder lesefaulen Kids oder aber einfach nur Abwechslung zum hundersten Verschwörungsroman für Erwachsene sucht ist hier genau richitg. "Das Medici Siegel" ist für Beides bestens geeignet. Uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.

My opinion. A really good book with histiorcal background. To read the book you need a few information before, but the most is explained by the way. You meet many hostirically important persons, here I just mention Leonardo da Vinci, Cesare Borgia and Machiavelli, and it takes you deeper and deeper into the story and the time. The characters are shown in a lovly way and because they are detailled you have a good picture of them and what happen is simple to understand. You live, laugh and feel bad with them. The beginning is fast, so you don't have a too long introducing part. the book is interesting, exciting and a high level, also it has a good spelling style, but the end is a little bit too much happy end. The mixture of ficive and historical actions is perfect.
All in all: For everybody who looks for a present for reading-loving or reading-hating kids or who just want to read a diffrent book for adults, is completly rightr with that book. "The Medici Seal" is good for both of them.
